Arbour Care is a family run company, providing you with tailored care in your own house. It means that you can stay as long as you like in your own home rather than going through the heartache of moving into a care home. We can give you as much support as you require, while allowing you the independence of continuing to live at home. Our services are very often much cheaper too.
About domiciliary care
We offer a daily, by the hour, domiciliary care service – in this case, one of our managers will sit down with you at home to plan your care – the carers will then visit you at home as many times of the day as you need.
The services we offer include help with:
- getting in and out of bed
- going to the lavatory
- getting dressed and undressed
- preparing food and drinks
- eating and drinking
- taking medication
- washing and bathing
- domestic cleaning such as dusting, cleaning and vacuuming
- keeping all living and service areas clean and hygienic
We also offer support with companionship and support in accessing the community, shopping, day trips, evenings out and respite care if required. We are here to keep you as independent as possible whilst providing that all important safety net.
We also provide domestic cleaning services, as we recognise that everyone has different levels of mobility, and having a clean home is very important. We can clean the whole house or the rooms of your choice, we will sit down and discuss your requirements and agree a programme with you.
Our cleaning services include:
- One off deep clean to ensure a good start (optional/ if required)
- Bathroom cleaning
- Kitchen cleaning
- Dusting, cleaning and vacuuming
- Laundry and Ironing service
Our highly trained carers and their managers are specialists in:
- Live-in care
- Care by the hour (domiciliary care)
- Respite care
- Rehabilitation
- Care on discharge from hospital,
- Convalescence
- End of life Care

All our carers speak good English, are DBS checked, trained by us to Care Certificate standard and are carefully supervised by our managers. There is a 24-hour help line to ensure our clients always have access to one of our management team.
We are small enough to give a personal service to all of our clients, yet large enough to recruit and train our carers properly.
