Meet The Team
Our business has been built on the understanding that independence is a fundamental right that should be afforded to all who value it.
Our team has a particular vocation for the work that they do, which means they have a natural aptitude for delivering care which is as individual as you are. However, it is the combination of working compassionately and receiving guidance and training in accordance with regulations that ensures a well-rounded level of care is delivered.

I worked as the Activities Co-ordinator within care homes, which I loved and could really see the benefits that a varied programme of activity brings to people’s lives. This in turn has inspired us to launch Arbour Companion and Care’s Enrichment Programme to support our clients and carers. Working in the care sector is extremely rewarding and I am looking forward to bringing my combination of skills to this role. In my spare time I love to go running, walk my dog, do arts & crafts projects and spend time with my family.
Our History
In recent years it became abundantly clear to Christina that there was a need for a new type of care - one that allowed people to remain at home whilst ensuring friends and family were afforded much needed peace of mind.
Having worked in the NHS and social services sectors for many years, Christina understood the countless worries people had when a loved one began to need more help. This, coupled with a gap in the market for a live in care provision, encouraged the family to make the transition from running their own nursing home, to growing their own live in care business.
The vision capitalised on years of industry knowledge, bringing about a new era of care that demonstrated an ability to deliver high-quality care on a par with a good care home. Moreover this option would prove affordable and flexible enough to meet the many differing wishes and needs of people wanting care.
Arbour Care hold great store in their training and quality monitoring. Arbour Care is registered with the Care Quality Comission and meets all stringent quality standards.
They set themselves apart by their superb training, their quality monitoring processes and their commitment to their clients – providing ‘care for your relatives just as you would give your own’.
